XR glasses are popping off in popularity nowadays, and we’re sure that their popularity will skyrocket once Samsung gets involved. According to the rumors, these spectacular spectacles will have the codename “Project Haean”.
Other than that, we don’t know much more. One bit of information we have won’t surprise anyone. They’ll be deeply integrated with Google’s Gemini chatbot. Samsung and Google have been rather tight for years, with some of Google’s own features and software launching on Samsung’s devices before all others. So, that Samsung wants to implement Google’s AI so deeply was always on the cards.
As for the launch date, we won’t be seeing these glasses until next year at the earliest. That’s pretty unfortunate because we want to know what Samsung will do to revolutionize the smart glasses market. We can all admit that the company is already tapped out when it comes to smartphone innovation.
However, the burgeoning smart glasses market is still taking form. We’re sure that with its technological expertise and massive amount of resources, Samsung can bring some real innovation to the market.
