What’s often the case with tech is that if you lose one part of a device, you’ll need to get an entirely new one. This was the case with the Google Pixel Buds Pro. However, if you happen to lose or break your case, you won’t need to shell out for a new set. According to a new report, you can now replace your Pixel Buds Pro charging case separately.
Speaking of the Pixel Buds Pro, Google announced some new changes coming to these TWs earbuds. One interesting feature is the new conversation detection. When you’re listening to your music, and a person starts talking to you, the earbuds will automatically pause your content and enable transparency mode. Also, Google announced the earbuds in the new Bay Blue color.
You can now replace your Pixel Buds Pro case
This is good news for people who just need to get a new case with no hassle. Previously, the company only offered earbud replacements and ear nib replacements. However, on the Google Store, you can now buy a brand-new charging case. Buying the case will run you back $70. That’s a little pricey, but it’s not too much. That’s only 35% of the overall price.
When you go to the Google Store, you’ll need to submit a replacement request in order to get your replacement. When you submit that, you’ll choose the color for the case you want and you’ll be on your way.
Just know that there are some limitations. For starters, you can only get a case replacement for your Pixel Buds Pro; this does not apply to the Pixel Buds A. Secondly, you can only take advantage of this deal if you’re in the US. If you’re outside of the country, then you will need to contact Google support to see about getting a replacement.
