In addition to the Pixel 6a going up for pre-order today, the new Pixel Buds Pro are also available for pre-order beginning today. Like the Pixel 6a, it’ll also be available starting next week – July 28.
Google is offering the Pixel Buds Pro in four colors this year: Coral, Fog, Charcoal and Lemongrass.
This is the first “pro” pair of truly wireless earbuds that Google has released. They offer active noise cancellation with Silent Seal. So you are able to wear them and drown out everything around you. This can be very useful for Zoom calls, that many of us are still on. Transparency Mode is here to help you hear some of what’s going on around you. This is helpful if you are wearing them while walking down the street.
Of course, with these being Pixel Buds, you’re getting Google Assistant right there in your ear. And now there’s wireless charging.
Finally, you’ll get 31 hours of playback on the Pixel Buds Pro with the included charging case. Or about 11 hours on a single charge, which is still very impressive.
Google’s most expensive earbuds yet
These are Google’s most expensive earbuds so far. They are retailing for $199 or you can get them for $33.33/month from the Google Store. That’s still pretty competitive for a “pro” pair of truly wireless earbuds. Since Sony and others have some that are far more expensive.
If you’re planning on picking up the Google Pixel 6a, this is going to make a really great companion, and will work the best with a Pixel. But they also work with any Bluetooth device – meaning any other Android smartphone or iPhone too.
You can pick up the Google Pixel Buds Pro from the Google Store by clicking the link below. Remember, pre-orders start shipping next week. So get your order in before it gets delayed.
