For years, Xiaomi has offered two flagship phone lines per year: the main (numeric) one and the “T” one. The latter includes more affordable versions, so you could think of them as the company’s “Galaxy FE” devices. Xiaomi’s next release in this lineup will be the Xiaomi 14T series. A big leak in late August revealed several key details. Now, a new report includes tech specs, pricing, and even design details of the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro.
Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro design, specs, and pricing revealed in big leak
Starting with the design, the Xiaomi 14T series will be very similar to the Redmi K70 series launched in China. This was expected, as the 14T and 14T Pro will actually be modified versions of the Redmi K70 devices for the global market. The renders show that both models will share the same look with flat edges and micro-curved displays. The green vanilla 14T would have a vegan leather rear finish, whereas the 14T Pro would be available in a “sandy” colorway slightly reminiscent of the iPhone 16 Pro’s Desert Titanium. There’s also Leica branding on the rear camera module.
The Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro would also share several key tech specs. This includes a 6.67″ OLED display with 2712 x 1220 resolution at a 144 Hz refresh rate and 12 GB of RAM. Both would have a 5,000 mAh battery and would be available in variants with 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. Leaked renders show that their camera systems will feature identical 50 MP telephoto (2x optical zoom) and 12 MP ultra-wide lenses. That said, there are some important differences in terms of chipset, fast charging support, and main camera sensor.
Some key differences between both models
According to the WinFuture report, the Dimensity 8300 Ultra chip will power the vanilla Xiaomi 14T. This model would support 67W fast wired charging, with no wireless charging. Meanwhile, its main camera sensor would be a 50 MP (1/1.56″) Sony IMX906. The Xiaomi 14T is said to have a recommended price of €699 in Europe. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14T Pro would use a more powerful Dimensity 9300+ chip. It would support 120W fast wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. The other key difference would be its bigger 50 MP (1/1.3″) Light Fusion-900 main camera. The Pro variant would be available for €899.
Interestingly, some retailers are listing both devices at lower prices. These would offer the vanilla model for around €600, while the Pro variant would be around €800. Lastly, the company will launch the Xiaomi 14 series on September 26.
