The Xiaomi 12 Ultra specs surfaced over a month ago, and that just happened again, but with different info. The spec list from May comes from Shadow_Leak, and this one from Yogesh Brar.
Truth be said, the source is not sure this spec list is completely accurate, it would seem. Still, he did release quite a lot of details, so let’s see what’s up. In terms of what’s different, well, a lot of details. The two leaks report different battery capacities, charging speeds, front-facing camera info, and so on.
Different set of Xiaomi 12 Ultra specs leaks
Now, the tipster says that the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will feature a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display. This will be an LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. He did not mention if it will be curved, but it almost certainly will.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC will fuel the device. This particular detail is almost certainly accurate. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 launched not long ago, and it does deliver some improvements over the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
The device will feature 8GB or 12GB of LPPDR5 RAM, depending on the version you decide to get. It seems like those two models will include 256GB and 512GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
67W wired charging tipped instead of 120W one
A 4,800mAh battery is mentioned here, along with 67W wired, and 50W wireless charging. The previous leak mentioned a slightly larger battery, and 120W wired charging. It’s possible that one is more accurate. Xiaomi will quite probably want to boost the charging speed with the ‘Ultra’ model.
A 50-megapixel main camera (OIS) is also mentioned, along with a 48-megapixel ultrawide unit. A 48-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (5x optical zoom) will also be included, and the same goes for a ToF (Time-of-Flight) camera, it seems. The tipster did mention laser autofocus as well.
Leica will be a part of the picture
A single 20-megapixel camera will sit on the phone’s front side. Android 12 is said to come pre-installed, along with Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 skin. Do note that Leica will be a part of the package, as the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be the first phone as a result of the partnership between the two companies.
The Xiaomi 12 Ultra design did surface already, and the phone itself is expected to arrive at some point next month. Xiaomi did confirm that a new flagship co-developed with Leica is coming next month, so… there you have it.
