Today is the 20th birthday for Xbox, and to celebrate Microsoft has added the FPS Boost feature to its cloud gaming portion of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Although, there’s a lot more coming from Xbox to celebrate its 20 years of gaming.

FPS Boost is a feature that Xbox Series X|S console owners have been enjoying for a while, but cloud gaming players have not had the opportunity to enjoy it yet. Alongside the FPS Boost for cloud gaming, Microsoft is also adding support for the feature to a new crop of games on consoles.

Plus, there are now 70+ new games from the older gen consoles that are backwards compatible on the Xbox Series X|S. Basically, it’s a good day to be an Xbox fan.

FPS Boost for Xbox Cloud Gaming supports 33 titles

To kick things off with FPS Boost on cloud gaming, there are 33 titles that can be enjoyed. Microsoft will roll out support for more titles in the future but it hasn’t yet confirmed when that will be. That being said, Microsoft has been pretty consistent with its Xbox-related updates and improvements. So it probably won’t be long.

Also worth noting is that this feature is still in beta. So things may change as time goes on. Players may also experience the occasional bug, as is typical with any beta. Rolling the feature out now will give Microsoft some time to work out the kinks via player feedback.

In terms of supported game titles, players will get FPS Boost with The Evil Within 2, Fallout 4, and Fallout 76 just to name a few.
