Succession has been parodying some of the most perplexing figures in the modern media landscape for four years now, but none are more current than its sociopathic egomaniac tech mogul Lukas Matsson, who listens to podcasts through noise-canceling headphones while he’s having sex and sends his ex-girlfriend pints of blood. A big part of Matsson’s character, of course, is that he can’t resist a cheeky tweet.

In episode six of season four, Matsson’s inability to stay off Twitter and his belief that he’s the cleverest man alive get him into serious trouble. The Swede was not a fan of Waystar’s newest enterprise “Living+,” which Kendall announced at the annual investor meeting – a version of the company’s cruise experience on land, a gated community with exclusive access to all the Waystar IP, and state-of-the-art tech, and pharmaceutical and medical products and services for its residents.

Matsson hated the pitch, calling it depressing “land cruises,” so he had the “brilliant” idea to tweet about it, using the phrase “Doderick Macht Frei” – a play on the motto “Arbeit Macht Frei” (“Works sets you free”) used by the Nazis in concentration camps. Doderick, of course, is the Waystar mascot that inhabits the Waystar theme parks, and also the mascot suit in which Cousin Greg puked in the pilot episode of the show. Matsson then added a photoshopped logo for “Living+” featuring a concentration camp and a picture of Doderick.

The actual “Living+” slogan “Gated Communities, Infinite Freedom,” and the fact that Kendall had a house and fog-machine clouds on stage didn’t help, but Matsson ultimately received major backlash for his tweet, which could affect his attempt at buying the Roys’ company.

Season four of Succession airs on HBO Sundays, 9PM Eastern Time (ET).
