We know that Lenovo is planning to formally enter the smartphone market with the introduction of the ThinkPhone. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve seen some leaks of this new phone, and now, they’re ramping up. Thanks to The Tech Outlook, we have new leaks of the ThinkPhone By Motorola.

At this point, there’s not much we don’t know about this phone. We know that it’s going to share several similarities with the company’s ThinkPad laptops. For starters, it will use the same faux carbon fiber material present on the laptops, and that will help this phone stand out from the crowd.

While we’ve gotten some rumored information about this phone thus far, more information keeps pouring in. A new leak from The Teck Outlook. With this leak, we see some more official renders confirming the design along with some specs and other details.

Let’s start off with the dimensions. It looks like this phone will have dimensions of 158.7 x 74.4 x 8.3 mm. We’re looking at a 6.6-inch POLED display with a punch-hole front and center. We expect it to have a resolution of 1080 x 2400. This makes it a 1080+ display. It’s expected to be HDR-compatible and run at 144Hz.

According to the source, this phone will use 2021’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It might have 8GB/12GB of RAM with 128GB/256GB/512GB of onboard storage. These specs put it solidly in the flagship space.

As for the camera package, it looks like the ThinkPhone will have a 50MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.8. It might come with a 12o° 13MP ultrawide camera and a depth sensor with an unspecified megapixel count. Up front, the phone looks to be a 32MP camera with an aperture of f/2.5.

The ThinkPhone, according to this first look, may come with a large 5,000mAh battery. That’s pretty standard for flagship phones. It will apparently support 68W charging.

Other specs include IP68 water and dust resistance, 5G connectivity, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Also, we expect some tight integration with Lenovo laptops like quick file sharing.

While this is a lot of information, most of it is still rumored, so you’ll want to take it with a grain of salt. We’re still in the dark as to the official specs.
