A new report has surfaced, claiming that the Pixel 7 is actually a success for US carriers. It turns out that consumers are quite interested in Google’s new handset, and the sales are actually really good.

The Pixel 7 seems to be a success for US carriers, unlike its predecessor

That is contrasting the info we got for the Pixel 6 last year. The information comes from a research firm, Wave7. That report does include responses from salespeople at all three major US carriers, by the way.

30 out of 39 reps said that the sales of the Pixel 7 were stronger than they were for the Pixel 6. An AT&T representative also said that the Pixel 7 Pro is an upsell that is often even more successful than the Pixel 7.

Verizon seems to be selling the most Pixel 7 phones. It currently has Google’s share at 7 percent, which is an increase of over 3-4 percent compared to the Pixel 6. Such news will definitely make Google happy, it’s an immense improvement.

AT&T, on the other hand, reached 6 percent, which is an increase over the 3 percent Google held in October. The last one of the three big carriers, T-Mobile, currently stands at 4 percent, while it was previously in the range between 1 and 3 percent.

The Pixel 7 series launch was much less bug-infested than the Pixel 6 series launch

The Pixel 7 series did not have nearly as many bugs as the Pixel 6 series, and it seems like consumers decided to give Google another chance. Many of them had poor experiences with the Pixel 6 flagships.

The Pixel 7 launch went much smoother, and it shows in the sales numbers. This will surely give Google hope for its upcoming products. Many reviewers lauded the Pixel 7 as a great device, and one of the best values to get at its price point.

The aggressive pricing surely helped Google as well, as the Pixel 7 pricing in specific was great, very competitive. It remains to be seen what will happen down the line, but for now, Google can be happy with the Pixel 7 series sales, at least when US carriers are concerned.
