Ulefone unveils Armor 28 Ultra Thermal Variant handset at IFA 2024

Ulefone has announced a new smartphone at IFA 2024, the Armor 28 Ultra Thermal Variant. This phone is actually quite interesting for several reasons. Before we get down to it, though, do note that this is a rugged phone. It’s a part of the company’s rugged ‘Armor’ series. This phone also comes as part of Ulefone’s 10th anniversary celebration.

The Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra Thermal Variant has been presented at IFA 2024

This is the very first rugged smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ processor. That is MediaTek’s most powerful chip at the moment. Ulefone also included 16GB of RAM inside of this smartphone.

To make things even more interesting, you’ll be glad to know that the main camera inside of this phone uses Sony’s IMX989 sensor. That is a 1-inch camera sensor found in several mainstream flagships these days.

In addition to having that large camera sensor, this phone also supports thermal image capture and has an infrared night vision camera. Unfortunately, we still don’t have all the details, as Ulefone didn’t share them, and the phone is still not detailed on the company’s website.

This phone not only includes two displays, but also a gigantic battery

This phone also comes with two displays, which makes it the company’s first dual-display device. It has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display on the front and a 1.04-inch AMOLED panel on the back.

As if that’s not enough, Ulefone managed to pack in a 10,600mAh battery inside of this phone. That will make sure that the device lasts for a long time, needless to say.
