The Ulefone Power Armor 14 is one of the company’s newest rugged smartphones, and it offers outstanding battery life. That is to be expected considering that this phone has a 10,000mAh battery pack on the inside.
Ulefone demonstrates Power Armor 14 battery life
Ulefone released a new video in which it shows you the Power Armor 14 power consumption while using GPS navigation. It essentially demonstrates power consumption throughout the day, while putting quite a bit of strain on the device with constant screen-on-time and GPS use.
We’re starting the day at 10 AM in this video, and the battery is fully charged, and the driver is going to the beach that is quite far away. After 3 and a half hours of navigation use, the battery dropped to 96-percent. That is excellent, most other phones would be way lower at this point. Constant GPS activity can be a serious battery drainer.
Following that point, after 1 and a half additional hours of GPS navigation (at 3:00 PM), the battery dropped to 90-percent. So that’s five hours of constant screen-on-time and GPS activity, and only 10-percent of battery charge was lost.
At 3:30 PMthe battery life was at 87-percent, after more navigation use, while it dropped to 85-percent at 4 PM. At 4:30 PM the battery was at 82-percent, at 5:30 PM it dropped to 76-percent.
The device has an HD+ display and four cameras
That’s basically the end of this video, as it was the end of the trip. In regards to the specs, the Ulefone Power Armor 14 is equipped with a 6.52-inch HD+ display, and the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC.
It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A 20-megapixel main camera is backed by a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a depth sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie camera is also included in the package
