Ulefone announced the Armor Pad tablet back in March this year. Now the company announced its sibling, the Ulefone Armor Pad Lite. This is also a rugged tablet, and it’s actually really affordable. More on that later.
The Ulefone Armor Pad Lite is the company’s new rugged tablet
If you take a look at the provided image, you’ll notice that this tablet does look quite rugged. If you don’t want to baby your tablet, a rugged option is always there. The design is simple, as expected.
This tablet is IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified. In other words, not only is it water and dust resistant, but it can take a hit too. It doesn’t require you to be gentle, and you can even drop it here and there.
The Ulefone Armor Pad Lite includes a 7,650mAh battery, which the company says can provide up to 414 hours of standby time, 14 hours of screen-on-time, and 12 hours of GPS tracking.
The device includes an 8-inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution. That is a 60Hz display, and has a maximum brightness of 500 nits. The MediaTek MT8766 SoC fuels this tablet while 3GB of RAM is included.
Android 13 Go Edition comes pre-installed on the device
Android 13 Go Edition comes pre-installed on this tablet, so a version of Android for budget devices. There are stereo speakers included here too, and a pogo-pin style connector enabling connectivity for various tools like endoscopes and microphones from the company.
A 13-megapixel main camera sits on the back, while a 5-megapixel camera is included on the front. Bluetooth 5.2 is also supported, while the device offers 32GB of storage.
The Ulefone Armor Pad Lite measures 213 x 128.8 x 14mm, while it weighs 558 grams. The device is priced at $139.99 for a limited time, until October 1. So if you’re interested, the purchase link is included below.
