Ulefone has now officially announced a phone that was teased recently, the Armor 21. This is the company’s new rugged smartphone, and it actually has a rather interesting feature. It has an ‘Infinite Halo’ ring light on the back, which surrounds a rather interesting speaker.

The ‘Infinite Halo’ is a ring light that consists of 18 pieces of RGB LED lights. Four modes are supported here: Music Halo Mode, Notification Halo Mode, Incoming Call Halo Mode, and Charging Halo Mode.
You’ll also be able to choose between 10 kinds of light effects for these options. These lights are customizable, as is their brightness. You can even choose which apps will work with these lights, and go deep into such customization. These lights can, of course, be disabled too, if that’s what you want.
Now, there is also an interesting speaker on the back. Ulefone included a speaker that provides 122dB output. It measures 36mm in diameter, and the company says it’s louder than an alarm siren.
When you’re playing music, the Infinite Halo lights will sync to the beats, so you can create a light show with this phone, basically. The company also says that this phone and therefore its speaker are water resistant, so no worries while using this on the beach or near the pool.
It is a rugged smartphone with a huge battery
Now, the phone does have rather noticeable bezels, which is not surprising considering this is a rugged device. It also has a waterdrop display notch, and a flat display. Three cameras are included on the back.
Ulefone even included an IR blaster here, while the device is IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H certified. It features a 6.58-inch fullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
A 9,600mAh battery sits inside of this phone, while the device supports 33W wired charging. You’re getting 16GB of RAM here, along with 256GB of expandable storage (up to 2TB microSD card). A 64-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX686 sensor) is backed by a 24-megapixel night vision camera.
Ulefone announced a pre-sale on June 12, as the phone will be available for only $99.99 for a limited time. The company is also hosting a giveaway, which is nowhere near done. All the necessary links are included below.
