With the introduction of various versions of Transformer, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is all set to introduce audiences to a whole new side of the franchise, with star Anthony Ramos teasing how this latest installment will expand things. “Our movie’s different. Steven Caple Jr., who directed Creed 2, he’s got a vision. He’s expanding the world,” the actor said. “We’ve got the beast wars now. Dominique Fishback, who’s also from Brooklyn — I’m co-starring with her, and we’ve got the new characters, Optimus Primal, Cheetor, a bunch of new characters and all the OG ones — Optimus Prime and Bumble Bee, so, we’re expanding the world.”

Not only that, but Ramos has revealed that some behind-the-scenes feel that Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will rival Michael Bay’s original movie. “Lorenzo di Bonaventura, who’s one of our lead producers on the movie, came up to me and said, ‘How are you feeling about the movie, man?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know, I haven’t seen it.’ And he was like, […] ‘It’s rivaling right there with the first one,’” he revealed. “I was like, ‘Wow!’ That movie was the introduction of the franchise, so it almost feels like an introduction into a new franchise. It feels like the beginning of a new thing, which feels amazing. Steven Caple Jr., our director, is amazing. Dominique Fishback, Pete Davidson, and the cast is insane. I’m just grateful to be there.”

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2023, by Paramount Pictures.
