Pokémon GO
- Price: Free to download
- In-app purchases: $0.99-$99.99
- Size: Varies with device
- Google Play rating: 4.2 out of 5 stars
The last app on this list is actually a game. As you can see, we’ve decided to list ‘Pokemon GO’ here, for a reason. This app will make you move, basically. As most of you know, Pokemon GO is an AR game in which you hunt Pokemon around the world but they only show up on your phone’s display. You essentially have to move to different locations to find different Pokemon, hence you move.
Pokemon GO is not the only game of this type at this point. It did get the craze going several years ago, but many new games popped up. If you don’t like Pokemon, you can always try out Zombies Run, Ghostbusters World, and so on. If you like gaming, but don’t really like exercising, this could be a perfect combination for you. You will, at the very least, move. That won’t be nearly as effective as actually working out, but it’s something, it’s better than not moving at all.
