Samsung will allegedly start shipping out Galaxy S22 units on February 25. This information has been revealed by a tipster via Twitter. It was revealed by TechInsider, formerly known as ‘Snoopy’.
Samsung tipped to start shipping Galaxy S22 units on February 25
This information does make sense, as the Galaxy S22 series is expected to launch on either February 8 or 9. It all depends on which rumor you end up believing, but the February 9 info is the latest that surfaced.
Samsung will didn’t officially confirm when will the Galaxy S22 series launch, though. So, at this point, we can only wait for the company to do so. Considering that we’re almost at the end of January, that confirmation will surely come really soon.
Samsung is expected to announce quite a few devices during its Unpacked event. The Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will land, alongside the Galaxy Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra. A tipster confirmed recently that Samsung’s flagship tablets will also land.
Most of those devices leaked at length at this point. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be fairly easy to recognize thanks to its notch. That’s not the most fortunate design solution, but there you go.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra will look considerably different than its siblings
The Galaxy S22 Ultra, on the other hand, will also stand apart from its siblings. It will look considerably different, thanks to flat top and bottom sides, curved displays, different rear camera design, and the inclusion of the S Pen.
On top of that, it will offer a more powerful camera setup, better internals altogether, and all the S Pen ‘Note’ functionality you may want. The device will actually resemble the Galaxy Note 20 series quite a bit.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is basically coming to replace the ‘Note’ series, as Samsung opted not to announce new ‘Note’ devices in 2021. This will be a great solution for the users who have been waiting for a ‘Note’ device.
