A tipster suggested, recently, that OnePlus is working on an “ultra flagship” which is supposed to launch in H2 2022. Well, the possible design of that device has just surfaced.
Possible design of the OnePlus 10 Ultra has just surfaced
If you take a look at the image below this paragraph, you’ll see a phone that OnePlus Technology patented back in September last year. This image has been spotted and shared by TechInsider.
As you can see, the device does resemble the OnePlus 10 Pro quite a bit.it has a similar camera setup on the back, but the sensors look a bit different. The front of the device does look pretty much the same.
This smartphone also has a curved display, and a display camera hole in the top-left corner. The bezels are thin, and the physical keys seem to be in their standards spots. The power/lock button is on the right, along with the alert slider. The volume rocker buttons are on the left.
You can also see the top and bottom sides of the phone in this image. The setup is quite standard, the audio jack is not included. A Type-C port sits at the bottom, along with the main speaker, and a SIM card tray.
Its specifications are still a mystery
This smartphone could be called the OnePlus 10 Ultra, and quite frankly, we still don’t have any specific info about it. This smartphone is supposed to be an upgrade over the OnePlus 10 Pro.
If we had to guess, we’d say that the specs will be quite similar, as the OnePlus 10 Pro is already a flagship phone. The camera setup is what will be different. Perhaps OnePlus plans to include a periscope camera or something of the sort, who knows.
Another point of difference may be the SoC. Depending on when this phone launches, it could include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+, or whatever Qualcomm ends up calling it. Presuming that Qualcomm plans to introduce another flagship SoC this year, as it did last year.
If this phone is really on the way, we’ll likely see more leaks in the near future.
