As days are passing by, either more Samsung devices are entering the Android 12 One UI 4 beta program, or already enrolled devices are picking up new One UI 4 beta updates.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series picked up its first Android 12 One UI 4 beta update around three weeks ago. Later, the second beta update went live for users in the US.

Fast forward to now, as per SamMobile, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series owners in South Korea and the US would be excited to know that the third One UI 4 beta update is now live for both regions.

The latest Android 12 One UI 4 beta update for the Galaxy Note 20 series brings multiple bug fixes. For instance, it fixes issues related to fingerprint authentication in some apps, data display errors, dimming issues, Galaxy Watch 4 crashes, etc.

It also fixes quick setting toggles, battery drain, lock screen, and other minor issues. Considering all of this, the update becomes crucial for Galaxy Note 20 series owners who are enrolled in the beta program.

To recall, the Galaxy Note 20 series debuted back in 2020. It came with Android 10 out of the box. Till now, it has bagged only one major firmware update in the form of Android 11.

The third One UI 4 beta for Galaxy Note 20 series arrives with version ZUL1

Recently, Samsung refreshed its update policy. According to it, the Galaxy Note 20 series will not only receive the Android 12 update, but it is also eligible to receive the Android 13 update.

While Android 13 is quite far, it is Android 12, which is inching closer to arriving via the stable channel. Talking about the third beta update for the Galaxy Note 20 series, it comes with firmware version ZUL1.

It is speculated that Samsung may release a couple of more beta updates for the Galaxy Note 20 series before rolling out the stable version.

The stable update is expected to come out sometime in January 2022. However, that is subject to change. Who knows, Samsung may release the stable Android 12 update right after this beta update.

Whatever the case may be, if you own a Galaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra and reside in the US or South Korea, then you should have received the beta update notification. Provided that you have enrolled in the beta program.

If not, then you can manually check for it, by heading over to Settings > Software update > Download and install. The system will look for the update and, if available, it will begin the downloading process.
