Amazon has the Google Pixel 8 on sale right now for its lowest-ever price. Now to be clear, the Pixel 8 is already available at a decent price if it’s at full retail. $699 isn’t bad for a phone this good. It’s everything you’ve ever loved about Google’s Pixel phones with better cameras, smarter features, and an all-around great style. Wrapped up neatly in a package that’s comfortable to hold and fits nicely in your pocket because it isn’t a massive slab.
That being said, why pay $699 when you can pay $150 less? Right now you can snag the phone on Amazon for $549. That’s a scorching hot deal that we wouldn’t pass up. If you’re in the market for a new phone and want something that’s camera-focused, this is one of the best options you have. Now keep in mind the $549 price is for the 128GB model of the phone. If you need more storage capacity, however, Google does make a 256GB model. As luck would have it, the 256GB model is on sale at Amazon as well. Instead of paying $749, you can pay just $609.
The biggest features of the Pixel 8 are the new features in the camera software, and in particular, the AI smarts that can help you tune your photos. Things like Audio Magic Eraser and Best Take correct photos and videos to be their best. For instance, say your video recording has too much background noise. The Audio Magic Eraser can remove that so you get a cleaner recording. Best Take ensures you get a nice photo of everyone looking their best. The Pixel 8 also delivers some outstanding macro images.
This is one of my favorite parts of the camera. Especially since the last Pixel phone I used extensively was the original Pixel which at the time, I thought had the best macro images on a phone I’d ever seen. One thing to note is that this deal is not available on the new Mint color of the phone. But you can pick up the other three colors for the sale price.
