Earlier this year Microsoft and NVIDIA announced a partnership that would see Xbox games come to the GeForce NOW service. And the first of those games has arrived as of today.

Every week NVIDIA releases a handful of new titles that can be streamed using its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service. Some weeks are littered with games while others only bring in a few. This week is one of those weeks where there’s only a few new games joining the service’s lineup.

But as the saying goes, quality over quantity. And this week definitely falls into the “quality” category thanks to the three games that are being added. The first of which is Gears 5 (available on Steam), the first Xbox game to make its debut on GeForce NOW.

In addition to Gears 5, players can also now stream Tin Hearts, and The Outlast Trials. Tin Hearts is a new release on Steam as of May 16, while The Outlast Trials released on May 18. All three games are available to stream as of May 18 as well.

More Xbox games are coming to GeForce NOW

Gears 5 is a good start to the addition of the Xbox games lineup, and while it’s the only one landing today, more aren’t far behind. NVIDIA confirms that there will be more Xbox games coming to GeForce NOW in the future. With the next batch of titles arriving on May 25.

Those games, which are being added to the library as part of next week’s GeForce NOW Thursday drop, are Deathloop, Grounded, and Pentiment. These will all be the Steam versions of said games so this is where you’ll need to own them if you want to stream them on GeForce NOW. At least initially. NVIDIA also confirms that support for the Microsoft Store is coming soon too.

So that means eventually, you’ll be able to stream the Microsoft Store versions of your games on the service.
