Amazon is slashing the price of its Fire HD 10 tablet for Prime Day and if you’re in need of a great little device for some casual entertainment, then this is the tablet for you. Normally it would cost you $140 but why pay that price when you can pay $75 instead? That’s the question you should be asking yourself because for the rest of today the Fire HD 10 is down to $75.
This deal is for the 32GB model of the tablet, although Amazon also makes a 64GB version. That model is also on sale for $85. So in our opinion, the 64GB model is the much better value. It’s normally $180, but on sale for only $10 more than the 32GB model at its sale price, and you get double the storage. A no-brainer there. Both models also come in three colors which are Black, Ocean, and Lilac.
When it comes to what you can do on the Fire HD 10, that depends on what you’re into. It’s perfect for reading books like you would on a Kindle and it’s an excellent option for audio books using Audible as well. But with the big 10.1-inch screen it’s extremely well-suited for watching movies or TV shows. If you have kids that you want to preoccupy, this is a great way to keep them entertained.
You can also play mobile games on it if you like, and it has a battery life of up to 13 hours which is pretty good. That means it should easily stay powered on for more than a few days if you’re only using it for a few hours a day. Either way, you can use it all day and not have to plug it in until you’re ready to go to bed.
