The End We Start From is just one of several projects on the horizon for Jodie Comer. The actress will also star alongside Austin Butler and Tom Hardy in The Bikeriders, a drama written and directed by Jeff Nichols. Comer stars as a strong-willed member of the biker gang, Vandals, who’s married to a wild, reckless bikerider named Benny (Butler). Comer’s character, Kathy, recounts the Vandals’ evolution over the course of a decade, beginning as a local club of outsiders united by good times, rumbling bikes, and respect for their strong, steady leader Johnny (Hardy).

As life in the Vandals gets more dangerous, and the club threatens to become a more sinister gang, Kathy, Benny and Johnny are forced to make choices about their loyalty to the club and to each other.

The Bikeriders stars a stellar ensemble cast, including Jodie Comer (The Last Duel), Austin Butler (Elvis), Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road), Michael Shannon (Take Shelter), Mike Faist (West Side Story), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), and Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead). The Bikeriders is due to open in U.S. theaters on December 1.

As for Benedict Cumberbatch, he too has plenty in the pipeline, including his return as Doctor Strange in the MCU, an unknown role in next year’s biblical comedy-drama The Book of Clarence, and his role as Henry Sugar in director Wes Anderson’s The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, which is due to land on Netflix on September 27, 2023.
