Today’s the day mobile gamers around the world can get their hands on Black Shark’s next gaming smartphone, as the global availability for the Black Shark 4 Pro starts today. Black Shark has officially announced global availability for February 23, at 12AM PST, with a starting cost of $579. There will be two variants of the phone available to customers.

The first model comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. If you need more power, there’s the model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Black Shark states the phone can be purchased from its own online store. As well as through Amazon. So you can snag from wherever you prefer.

Up until today, the Black Shark 4 Pro wasn’t available outside of certain regions. Now though, consumers who want a powerful gaming phone can pick it up. Global availability includes the US, UK, and Europe. Additionally, the phone is available in Canada, Australia, Israel, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece and many more countries.

As noted above, the retail price starts at $579 for the 8GB/128GB model. If you’d rather have more performance power, the 12GB/256GB model retails for $679. The phone will also be available in three different colors which include Shadow Black, Misty Gray, and Cosmos Black.

Black Shark doesn’t state that there are any restrictions on colors based on model variation. Which means you can probably purchase either one in any of the three colors.

Those who choose to go with this device over something like the ROG Phone 5S, should get considerably similar performance at a much lower cost. There are even similar features like the shoulder triggers. Although, these are different than the triggers on other gaming phones.

Instead of using ultrasonic triggers or physical triggers that are always there, the Black Shark 4 Pro triggers are magnetic. A single click pops them up for use while gaming, and an additional click hides them again. Which is pretty ingenious. Not to mention it helps keep the design more seamless when you don’t need extra gaming buttons.
