TECNO announces its ‘AI vision’, talks about the future

TECNO has just announced its ‘AI vision’ at IFA 2024 in Berlin. In other words, the company introduced “a series of AI functions that will enhance productivity, provide more practical value, and offer easier creative fun”.

TECNO talked about its AI vision at IFA 2024

The company says that these features will soon be rolled out to its smart device ecosystem. “TECNO has always been committed to revolutionizing the digital experience in emerging global markets”, said Jack Guo, a General Manager of TECNO.

TECNO says that it wants to deliver “Pracital AI” to its consumers. In other words, the company wants to offer features that integrate into the daily life of its consumers to help them out, basically.

Further AI investments are planned

“TECNO AI vision integrates the most advanced AI features on the market, such as AI writing, translation, search, drawing, and more”, says TECNO. The company also said that it plans to invest further in its AI strategy.

It will firstly focus on AI language localization, and that includes minority language translation and semantic recognition development. The second focus will be on the integration of AI and local apps.

TECNO’s AI assistant ‘Ella’ comes with Gemini support

TECNO already offers a Gemini-integrated Ella AI Assistant on its devices, by the way. Ella AI is able to engage in streams of conversation with users, instead of providing a single response per interaction.

TECNO offers Real-Time Translation thanks to AI, and the same goes for AI Writing function. TECNO AI Assistant can generate a summary of a long text without a problem, that’s just one example.

There are a number of AI features on offer

The company also mentioned AI Search, which is another member of its AI arsenal. This feature allows you to “learn about the world with the swipe of a finger on the screen”. Whether you want to get a particular recipe, an image, or buy a piece of clothing you’ve spotted on social media networks.

TECNO offers various other AI functions, such as AI Artboard, AI Image Editing, AI Video Productions, and so on. The company is constantly improving those products, and it seemingly has big plans for the future.
