Announcements from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas just keep on coming. TCL just announced a new smart lock, the TCL Smart Lock D1 Pro, which actually originally presented in late 2024. This is a rather interesting product.

The TCL Smart Lock D1 Pro offers AI-powered palm vein recognition

The TCL Smart Lock D1 Pro comes with AI-powered palm vein recognition, with multiple access points. The company says it offers “unrivaled accuracy, convenience, and security at an affordable price point”.

As you can see, this smart lock also has a rather minimalistic design, which is what most people want from a smart lock. It does offer Wi-Fi connectivity, of course, and it also offers integration with both Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Real-time remote access management is a part of the package, and this smart lock also has a weather-resistant design. The lock is IP54 certified, made out of aluminum, and it has a 7,800mAh battery built into it. It can actually operate in extreme temperatures from -55 to 60°C.

Seven different unlock methods are at your disposal

AI palm vein recognition is nearly impossible to replicate and incredibly secure. This smart lock, however, offers 7 different unlock methods for you to use. In addition to palm vein recognition, you can use keypad entry, cards, app control, mechanical key, period password, and voice commands through Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Via TCL’s app, you can manage user permissions, set up alerts, and monitor access activity in real-time. You have complete control over the smart lock, simply choose how you want to use it, set it up that way, and you’re good to go.
