In only a few short months, the long-awaited mini-series Ahsoka will be released for all the fans who have been waiting patiently. For now, they’re left to dream up questions about the limited visuals they’re seeing as it hits the internet.

Ahsoka has been through several outfit designs over the years because of her journey. Since her debut in 2008’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars, she started out under the tutelage of Anakin Skywalker but watched him go to the dark side while she refrained. By the time she meets Din Djarin in “Chapter 13: The Jedi” of The Mandalorian, she is sporting white lightsabers that are symbolic that she has no allegiance to the Jedi or the dark side.

This is what has many fans wondering what is going on. Where does Ahsoka pick up in her timeline? Her outfit takes keen observers back to another time than the one she was on when they last saw her. The film’s director Dave Filoni was asked about it by Empire.

“She’s a wanderer at this point,” Filoni said, “and is in a lot of ways wary of any organization as such because of the power that comes with it as a group.”

Her white robe and staff were what the first question was about.

Fans really dug into her white cloak and staff and wouldn’t let that point go. Maybe she’ll wear it in later episodes as the story progresses but it’s going back to another time in her life and someone has to step up and say that pretty soon before everyone’s mind explodes.

Let’s see if Empire itself will settle the confusion for them.

One fan account imagined a future encounter between a pair of Mandalorians.

Of course, The Mandalorian would have to show up for at least an episode to make that reality come true.

Such encounters have fans looking forward to their eventuality in the series.

Promised to be released in August 2023, Ahsoka is set to take fans on a new journey by using a beloved character’s narrative arc as the central focal point.
