The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite has just appeared in renders, and those images paint a different picture than the sketch we got a while back. That sketch appeared last month, for those of you who don’t recall.
Sketchy OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite renders appear
Now, these renders suggest that this will be a more boxy phone than the sketch suggested. The rear camera setup seems to fit the previous image, though.
The sides of this phone will be mostly flat, and the same goes for the top and bottom portions In fact, these renders seem to suggest that the display will be quite pronounced, as you can see in the image below. In fact, this looks somewhat realistic, as it seems like the display will protrude quite a bit, with a 90-degree angle.
A power/lock button will be placed on the right side, and double as a fingerprint scanner. The volume up and down buttons will sit on the left side, along with a SIM card tray. Three cameras seem to be placed on the back side of the phone.
The glass will be included on the back of the phone, while the alert slider won’t be included. A Type-C port will sit at the bottom of the phone, along with an audio jack, and a speaker grille.
This device does look quite weird, to be quite honest, and a bit sketchy. That display protruding on the back, under a 90-degree angle is a weird touch, while the phone seems to be too thin overall.
The source does note that the final product “will look slightly different”. Well, it sure will, as this does seem unrealistic.
The phone will allegedly include a 120Hz display, and 33W charging
The device is tipped to include a 6.58-inch fullHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also tipped to ship with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A 64-megapixel main camera may be included, along with a 2-megapixel macro, and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera.
A 5,000mAh battery was also mentioned in a previous rumor, and the same goes for 33W fast wired charging. This device is expected to arrive soon.
