Pop superstar Justin Bieber is under growing scrutiny as his circle of close friends and associates continues to get smaller. This has led to worries among former colleagues and fans about his well-being and the role of his religious connections.
As reported by TMZ, concerns mainly focus on Bieber’s close ties to Pastor Judah Smith and his involvement with Churchome, a church based in Beverly Hills. Several people who were once deeply involved in Bieber’s professional and personal life have stepped away, expressing unease about the church’s influence and Bieber’s increasingly unpredictable behavior.
One notable example is Ryan Good, the creative director of Bieber’s fashion brand, Drew House, and a longtime friend and collaborator. Good’s decision to distance himself from Bieber has been directly connected to his concerns about Churchome.
Justin Bieber may have fallen with the wrong crowd
One of Bieber’s team members said, “Seeing him disintegrate like this … it’s watching the embodiment of someone not living their purpose. He’s lost. There’s no one protecting him because there’s no one there willing to say no to him. You say no, you get blown out.”
Sources say Good left the church because he believed it had traits similar to a cult, and his discomfort grew as Bieber became closer to Pastor Smith. This separation, which reportedly happened over a year ago, further reduced the already shrinking group of people close to Bieber.

Adding to the concerns is the fact that Pastor Smith was appointed to the Drew House board of directors several years ago. Some insiders see this as an unusual move, given Smith’s lack of business experience and the existing tension between him and Good. This decision is seen by many as a sign of the pastor’s growing influence over Bieber’s life.
Beyond Good’s departure, Bieber has also cut ties with other important figures in his career, including his former manager, Scott “Scooter” Braun, and several other longtime associates. These separations, combined with the concerns raised by Good, suggest that Bieber is becoming more isolated, surrounded by a smaller and possibly less impartial group of people.
