Amazon has dropped the prices of its Omni Fire TV models right now. They are actually cheaper now than they were during Black Friday, which is rather impressive.
Starting off, the 43-inch model is on sale for $359, that’s down from $409. The 50-inch Omni Series is on sale for $459, down from $509. The 55-inch Omni Series is on sale for $479, down from $559. The 65-inch Omni Series is $559, originally $829. And finally, the 75-inch Omni Series also on sale for $859, down from its regular price of $1,059.
The Omni Series is the higher-end models from Amazon, which also offer up Dolby Vision support. But Dolby Vision is only on the 75-inch model. So you can get the best picture possible on these TVs. Amazon claims that these are for more of a cinematic home theater experience.
Now speaking of picture quality, the Omni Series does support HDR. In addition to Dolby Vision, there is also HDR10 and HLG support here.
For audio, we’re looking at Dolby Digital Plus, no Dolby Atmos here. However, you can plug in a Dolby Atmos soundbar and get Dolby Atmos with these new TVs. Amazon has also included three HDMI 2.0 ports, as well as a HDMI eARC 2.1 port. Which is going to be great for something like a Sonos Beam that has Dolby Atmos. Or using the Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5.
Hands-free Alexa is available on these TVs. So without pressing a button on the remote, you can talk to Alexa. Which can be used for a number of things. Like controlling your smart home products, asking about the weather, or finding something to watch on your TV.
Of course, we can’t forget that this is all powered by Fire TV. Which has many popular apps available. Including Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, YouTube TV, Disney+ and much more.
