The Samsung Galaxy S25 series is shaping up to be an exciting (well, not really) release early next year. Samsung is betting on this device to turn its fortunes around, so the company is probably looking for ways to make it stand out. Well, how about AI? According to a report, the Galaxy S25 might come with Gemini Advanced for free.
This information is based on an APK deep dive. As such, you’ll want to take it cautiously. There’s code present within the Google app that hints at this functionality. However, Google could pull this code at any moment.
The Galaxy S25 might come with Gemini Advanced for free
We all know that Samsung and Google have a relationship that will make any married couple jealous. Their close business partnership has had an effect on the mobile tech industry, and we see this continue with Samsung’s next smartphones.
Android Authority, in collaboration with AssembleDebug, uncovered some strings of code within the Google app v15.52.37 beta. One string reads:
Looking at the string, we see Samsung referenced, so this points to Gemini Advanced possibly coming to Samsung’s devices. One thing to note is the “nine_months” text. Other strings contain the text “three_months“, “six_months“, and “one_year“. This means that Google could offer different tiers based on the model you buy. So, the base Galaxy S25 could give you three months while the Ultra could give you a longer duration.
The only thing is that there are four different tiers. If each tier corresponds to a Galaxy S25 model, then this could confirm a fourth model coming, the Galaxy S25 Slim.
Below, there’s a screenshot further confirming that Gemini Advanced could come to the Galaxy S25. We see that the second to last string has “SAMSUNG_S25” in it. So, it directly references the device line.
Along with that, we see “MOTO”, so Google could be working on a similar partnership with Motorola. However, that will be further down the line, if at all.
