One UI 4.1 is already out, and we’re still months out from One 5. This means that it’s the season for smaller software updates from the company. Samsung just released the new May 2022 security update to its mid-range Galaxy A52 phones. According to Sam Mobile, it’ll be available to download in certain countries in the coming days.
The security update will fix several vulnerabilities in the Galaxy A52

That’s a combination of issues intrinsic to Android and those that exist only on Galaxy phones. These will be patched up in the update, and the phone will be a bit safer. The firmware version of this update is A525FXXU4BVE2.
It’s still rolling out
If you’re looking out for this update, you might have to wait a few days. Right now, the update is available in the Russian market. Over the next couple of days, the update will spread to other countries.
If you want to check if you have the update, go to your settings. From there, go to the Software Update option. There, tap on the Download & Install option. The phone will search for the update. If it says that your phone is up to date, just give it a day and try again.
