Samsung is rolling out the fourth One UI 4 beta for Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra. This is likely the last beta before the company issues the stable release of the highly anticipated upgrade.

The latest beta bears the firmware version ‘ZULB’ and should be hitting the Galaxy Note 20, provided the owners are enrolled in Samsung’s beta program. The update doesn’t bring many new features, but it fixes a handful of bugs.

The update for the Galaxy Note 20 and the Note 20 Ultra is currently appearing in South Korea. However, it shouldn’t take long for global users to find this new beta release on their respective phones. While Samsung is non-committal on the rollout of the stable release, the update could likely reach devices before the end of the year.

The changelog posted on Samsung Community (via) reveals that it fixes issues with Facebook and Instagram links. The company is also fixing a bug that hides the chat bubble icons on KakaoTalk. Additionally, the update enables compatibility with the Kiwoom Securities app.

Samsung is comfortably the quickest to send security and software updates. However, it faced a significant setback following the stable One UI 4 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Z Fold 3.

Multiple customers said their device either entered recovery mode or was bricked entirely following the stable One UI 4 update. Others discovered issues like screen flickering and diminished performance. Moreover, some users claimed the camera stopped working altogether, while others said images randomly disappeared from their Gallery.

It’s worth pointing out that Samsung had concluded multiple betas before rolling out the stable update for the two foldables. With several complaints piling on its official forums, the company decided to halt the release of the stable update. Thankfully, it didn’t take long for the company to restart the update for the two foldables.

As for the Galaxy Note 20, Samsung sent out the third One UI 4 beta earlier this month. So it hasn’t taken too long for the manufacturer to progress to the fourth beta.
