The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, a phone that we have been hearing about for months now, has taken forever to arrive in the market. And while the wait for its official introduction must go on for some more weeks, there’s no ending to its leaks. The latest comes from Samsung itself. The company accidentally listed the phone on its official website in the UAE recently. The webpage, which contained the device’s name and a high-res render, has since been taken down. But the internet never forgets. Here’s what Samsung UAE prematurely revealed, courtesy of the famed leaker Evan Blass aka @evleaks.

The device that you can see above is the long-rumored Galaxy S21 FE in its green avatar. The phone is also expected to come in black, pink, and white colors.

The model number for this listing is SM-G990E, suggesting that Samsung will launch the Exynos variant of the phone in the UAE. Perhaps in the Middle East and surrounding regions. We are talking about the Exynos 2100 here, not the upcoming Exynos 2200 (or whatever else the Korean giant calls it). In markets like the US, we are expecting the Galaxy S21 FE to run on the Snapdragon 888 SoC. So don’t be hopeful of getting the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen1.

This official sighting of the Galaxy S21 FE didn’t last long and didn’t reveal any of the device’s specs either. However, there’s hardly anything left to know now. The phone has been subject to a mountain of leaks in the past, revealing pretty much everything we need to know. We regularly update this article to add any new information that emerges down the line.

Check out the Galaxy S21 FE retail box

As we said earlier, the Galaxy S21 FE leaks will continue to come for as long as Samsung keeps it under wraps, at least officially. Along with the aforementioned premature listing on Samsung UAE’s website, we also recently saw the alleged retail box for the phone. The size of the leaked boxes (see below) suggests there will be no charging box inside them, something we were expecting. It’s a trend now. Companies claim this is to reduce electronic waste as well as carbon footprint. To that end, Samsung seems to be using less plastic in making the Galaxy S21 FE retail box.

As far as the Galaxy S21 FE launch date is concerned, there’s no certainty of it as yet. Reports suggest the phone could break cover early in January 2022, before going on sale a week later. We will keep you posted.
