Samsung is back at CES 2024 this year and is announcing a slew of new TVs as they typically do. And this includes some new 8K TVs. The company claims that 40% of premium shoppers say that they’re considering an 8K TV as their next purchase. So, this year, Samsung has the QN800D in 65-, 75-, and 85-inch sizes. As well as the QN900D in 65-, 75-, and 85-inch sizes.

The 85-inch QN900D Neo QLED 8K TV delivers Samsung’s brightest picture quality, along with mind-blowing sound and a new enhanced design. Samsung claims that it is the slimmest, most premium 8K TV to ever hit the market.

Both 8K models do come with new features like the 8K AI Upscaling Pro, AI Motion Enhancer Pro, a new Infinity Air Stand and much more. It also creates the most immersive at-home theater environment. Finally, the QN900D is able to upscale SD and HD content into 4K-like resolution, as well as 4K content into 8K. Samsung also claims that this is the first TV to support a maximum VRR of 4K 240Hz.

Samsung’s new Neo QLED 4K and OLED TVs

Moving onto Samsung’s Neo QLED 4K TVs for 2024, there’s the new QN90D that’s available in 43 inches up to 98 inches. As well as the QN85D, which is available in 55-inches up to 85-inches. These deliver a powerful and cinematic 4K experience, allowing you to transform whatever you ware watching into a beautiful 4K scene. Along with the QLED 8K models, the Neo QLED4K models do also have Active Voice Amplifier Pro; this is a feature that is able to boost dialogue or key sound effects, so you can hear them exactly as the director intended for an immersive visual and audio experience.

Samsung has also announced new OLED TVs in the S90D and S95D range. The company claims that this line steals the show with bold contrast, vibrant colors, and amazing brightness. And they are brighter than ever before. On top of that, the S95D is also the first OLED TV with OLED Glare Free technology. So you can enjoy the best viewing experience possible across both bright and dark rooms. The S95D is also incredibly thin at just 11mm. And with the attachable One Connect Box, you can hide all of your peripherals and cables behind the TV. It’s also a great canvas for gaming, with a 4K 144Hz panel.

The Frame (2024) will bring dynamic art streaming

Rounding out the new TVs from Samsung, we have The Frame (2024), which is still one of the most popular TV lines from Samsung. This year, it has Pantone Art Validated colors so that every piece of art displayed on The Frame is going to be more natural and realistic.

New in 2024, Art Store will introduce a unique and dynamic art streaming service called Curator Picks, which is a revolving gallery of artwork selected by Samsung’s curation experts.

So far there’s no price nor release date set for these new TVs. Last year, the majority of Samsung’s new TVs did not launch until the middle of the year. So we’d expect much of the same this year.
