Preparing to join the herald of tablets available for purchase is the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus. A well-known tipster, @OnLeaks, has shared design renders (CAD-based) of this tablet to give fans a glimpse of what to expect. He shared them in collaboration with wolfoftablet. You can check out all the shared renders in the gallery below, along with a video covering those images.

Over the years, Samsung has made serious upgrades to most of its products, including its tablet line-up. With the Tab S series retailing as the brand’s flagship entry into the tablet market, there is a need for constant innovation. The previous generation of this tablet series from Samsung got certain design and performance elements right, hence making them bestsellers in the Android community.

This coming entry will improve on some features of its predecessor whilst correcting notable flaws. From the design renderings of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, some similarities to its predecessor can be seen. Regardless, its design changes are also evident and an upgrade in performance is certain.

The coming Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus will brush up on the design of its predecessor

About a year ago, Samsung hit the Android community with a tablet series that swept most people off their feet. The Galaxy Tab S8 series was a big bang after its launch and it came with three tablet entries. This came as a shock to fans because it is the first tablet series from Samsung to feature an Ultra variant.

But, the Plus variant still packed a punch, spotting a massive 12.4-inch sAMOLED screen display. In terms of its design, this tablet featured slim screen bezels, flat edges, and a sleek finish. These design elements have also made their way to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus renderings.

In terms of design, the coming Galaxy Tab S9 Plus entry will be similar to its predecessor. But it is good to note that from the renderings the camera cutout sees a notable change. Unlike the Tab S8 Plus where the rear cameras sit on one cutout, the Tab S9 Plus rear cameras sit independently of each other.

This is a design change that we can also see in the Samsung Galaxy S23 and S23 Plus in comparison with their predecessors. Aside from the rear camera cutout, all other design elements might stay the same. The rendering shows room for the S-Pen magnetic connector and charging spot, which is an important feature for artists and designers.

Most changes on the coming Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus will take place under its hood. It will pack a new processor, battery capacity, software, display technology and a few other changes to improve the overall user experience.
