Samsung is working on the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 as its next AI laptop. The device appeared on FCC listings today, suggesting an imminent launch. Plus, a leak has revealed several key specs and images of the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360.

After Google, Samsung was one of the pioneers when it came to AI in smartphones. The company doesn’t want to be left out of the AI race with its laptops either. While they won’t be the first to launch a Copilot+ computer, the upcoming Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 looks pretty promising. It could be a worthy Windows rival to the MacBook Air.

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 would be a modified Galaxy Book 4 Pro

According to the report, the AI laptop will be very similar to the Galaxy Book 4 Pro. The upcoming Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 will inherit not only the design and port placement but also many components. However, there are improvements in key specs to justify the existence of the new model, starting with the Copilot+ certification. Samsung will replace the right Ctrl key with the Copilot button that will trigger Windows’ AI-powered features.

There’s also a new processor inside the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360. The Lunar Lake Intel Core Ultra 5 226V will be the “heart” of Samsung’s laptop. Other improvements include Wi-Fi 7 (Wi-Fi 6E on the Galaxy Book 4 Pro) and Bluetooth 5.4 (5.3 on the Galaxy Book 4 Pro). The Windows Report leak says the rest of the specs will be the same.

The Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 would feature a stunning 16-inch WQXGA+ AMOLED touchscreen display with S Pen support. The Intel Core Ultra 5 226V chip might be assisted by 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. There would also be up to 512 GB of NVMe SSD storage, possibly with more variants to choose from. A 76Wh battery with 65W USB-C charging would power the whole package. Its set of ports could include 1x USB 3.2, 2x Thunderbolt 4, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x microSD card reader, and 1x 3.5 mm audio jack.

There is no official release date for the laptop yet. However, MySmartPrice spotted a related entry in the FCC database. Taking into account the certification and the leaked specs and images, it appears that the Galaxy Book 5 Pro 360 launch is imminent.
