Samsung usually launches new accessories for Galaxy devices in collaboration with well-known brands. Now, the company has confirmed a partnership with The Hershey Company to release a themed accessory lineup under the Samsung Friends brand. While Samsung Friends is an in-house brand of the company, its accessories and cases are manufactured by third parties.
The new Samsung Friends & Hershey’s collection will be available for Samsung’s latest products. These include the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Galaxy Buds 3 series, and the Galaxy Watch 7. Interestingly, there is no mention of the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
Samsung and Hershey’s collaboration brings 12 new themed accessories for Galaxy products
The Samsung Friends & Hershey’s lineup includes as many as 12 accessories for Galaxy products. A short video offers a look at the design of many of them. There are straps for the brand’s smartwatches, FlipSuit cases for its latest foldable phones, and cases for its new TWS earbuds. The collection sports a laid-back look in line with what the Samsung Friends brand usually offers.
Samsung’s Friends & Hershey’s accessories for Galaxy devices debuted in South Korea yesterday (July 29). Currently, they can only be purchased in the company’s home country. However, Samsung confirmed that they will be available in more regions later this year, including Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the United States.
The collaboration between the two companies also included the launch of Flip Tour With Hershey’s. This is a store where, among other things, users will be able to get their hands on all the new accessories. They will also be able to taste limited edition Hershey’s drinks that will only be available there.
The blog post reveals that the Samsung Friends lineup offers accessories in collaboration with 17 iconic brands. The list includes Sticky Monster Lab, Smiley, Keith Haring, Disney, Minions, and Pokémon. So, Galaxy device users can purchase cases themed around Star Wars, The Simpsons, Minions, The Powerpuff Girls, and more. Many of these are available worldwide.
