Apple could launch the iPhone 16 iOS smartphones in a brand-new “coffee” color. A Middle Eastern retailer posted a video that implies Apple could be introducing a new color, and perhaps, even a new texture or macro feature.

The Apple iPhone 16 to get a new coffee color?

Apple is about to launch the iPhone 16 series soon. The upcoming series includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max variants in multiple storage options. However, these devices won’t have Apple Intelligence out of the box.

Apple has been keeping buyers excited for the iPhone by draping these devices in new shades. It appears this year, Apple may have settled on a coffee color for the iPhone.

A brief 14-second video starts by zooming in on a cup of coffee, with the Apple iPhone’s iconic triple-rear camera array showing up. A two-word text appears at the end.

Sharaf DG, a popular Dubai-based consumer electronics retailer posted the video, and an X user shared the same. The 14-second clip merely says ‘Stay Tuned’ at the end. It does not mention if any new features are coming to the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

Regardless of the brevity and lack of details, the video conveys the message quite clearly because of the iconic Apple iPhone’s rear camera setup. The hot and bubbling beverage suggests that the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, or the iPhone 16 Pro Max could arrive in a new color option.

Is Apple offering new imaging hardware in the iPhone 16 series?

It is important to note that the video does not mention Apple or the iPhone anywhere in the video. Hence, it is quite likely that the video may turn out to be irrelevant. Moreover, recent reports have suggested Apple would offer a “Desert Titanium” color option, which looks similar.

Regardless of the authenticity and relevance, the way the video zooms into the coffee cup suggests that Apple could introduce a new macro feature. Apple does offer exceptional macro photography capabilities in its iPhones, especially since the iPhone 13 Pro series.

If what the video implies is true, Apple may be introducing ridiculous levels of zoom. This feature would try to capture incredible detail in close-up shots. Apple’s “Its Glowtime” event is a mere week away. In other words, interested buyers have to wait only till September 9 for the full reveal.
