Queen Camilla demanded King Charles to ‘stop’ and ‘stormed out’ after witnessing his obsession with ‘sexy’ TV soap actress

King Charles’ ill-famed affair with Queen Camilla that led to the end of his marriage to Princess Diana remains a topic of debate even to this day, sparking discussions and questions as to how he could pick her over the late princess. Well, his love and singular focus for the now-Queen wasn’t always strong.

Apparently, the monarch was quite taken by TV soap actress Carli Norris, famous for EastEnders and Doctors on the BBC. After he watched her performance in The Chiltern Hundreds in the West End, he met her in 2016 and couldn’t stop himself from gushing over legs, as shared by Norris on an episode of the Chicken Soap for the Soul podcast. 

“[Then] Prince Charles was walking around, introducing himself to everybody and he came up to me and he shook my hand and he went, ‘You’ve got very sexy legs.’I went, ‘Oh thank you, your highness.’”

Charles’ fixation on Norris was so obvious that even the actress’ co-star, Edward Fox, noticed it, prompting him to comment on how “someone’s made an impression on Charlie!” the next day they went to work. According to Norris, Charles was not satisfied with complimenting her legs once and kept “going on and on” about how sexy they were. The incident annoyed Camilla to no end, and she “slammed her knife and fork down and said ‘Oh for goodness sake, Chas, will you stop going on about that gal’s legs?!’” Whether that managed to scare Charles into silence is unknown, as a pretty mad Camilla then “left the room and stormed out.” Ouch.

Did Camilla forgive Charles? Apparently so, since the couple appears to be going strong, especially as the ailing monarch continues his cancer treatment while fulfilling his duties as the Head of England. But according to Norris, he probably carried the torch for her in his heart for years as in 2022, she was honored as a “national treasure,” which made the actress wonder that Charles had been following my career and “he was the one that wanted me sitting near him for his mummy’s Jubilee.”

Well, there was a time when Charles and Camilla had time for such trivial moments. Life for the aging couple now is stuck between Royal drama, Charles’ ongoing cancer treatment and its effect on his health, Prince Harry’s raging battle against the U.K., and, of course, practicing diplomacy to keep Donald Trump happy.
