Prince William has ‘put his foot down’ and demanded a ‘deeply upset’ Kate Middleton to stop speaking to Harry

Prince Harry has been pretty much completely ostracized from the royal family. But despite him frequently bashing his family, Kate Middleton allegedly still wants to see the Duke of Sussex reunited with his older brother, Prince William.

This isn’t the first time the Princess of Wales has tried to intervene and mend the broken relationship between the two brothers. Earlier this year sources claimed that Kate was “desperate” to get the brothers talking again. Despite recent events it seems her plans haven’t changed as Palace sources informed RadarOnline.com that the Princess is “deeply upset” over the rift between the pair. She’s also apparently been in communication with the younger prince and is moved by Harry’s distress.

What’s worse is that the situation with Harry is apparently causing some tension between William and Kate. After the Duke of Sussex gave an interview with the BBC earlier this month it seems the older brother is dead set on completely cutting him off despite his wife’s pleas.

William doesn’t want any communication with his brother

Sources claimed that William has “made it clear to the rest of the family that they should keep their distance from the Sussexes, because anything shared could be turned against them.” Harry is seen as somewhat untrustworthy on account of him publicly airing his grievances with his family to numerous outlets in the past. The BBC interview is just the latest example of the Prince making a private matter public knowledge.

Clearly William believes the best way forward is to completely cut Harry off, but Kate still remains adamant that the two make nice according to sources. This has led to tension between the couple as William has had to “put his foot down with Kate” as he’s worried “anything Kate says to Harry could be twisted or resurface later.” 

It might not happen immediately, but apparent concerns include Harry releasing another book, or even Meghan coming out with her own side of the story.

Kate is upset and frustrated

For her part Kate is reportedly “deeply upset with Harry, but she’s also frustrated that William and the rest of the family have allowed things to deteriorate this badly.” The Princess of Wales seems to only want what’s best for the family as a whole, but both sides refuse to meet in the middle. 

Kate set about trying to mend the rift after her brush with cancer. She has reportedly urged Charles and Camilla as well as William to “lighten up on Harry.” But despite all her efforts the insider believes that her wishes are unlikely to come true.
