Rainbow Six Mobile is now up for pre-registration on Android devices. As a mobile adaption of the popular team-based first-person shooter for PC and consoles, players can expect a lot of the core game mechanics that make up its PC and console counterparts. Although Ubisoft has been quick to note that it’s been designed from the ground up for mobile.

Which means mobile-specific layouts and features that are a better fit for smaller screens. With pre-registration now live, Rainbow Six Mobile is definitely getting closer to a release. That being said, there is still no confirmed release date. The game does have a planned 2022 release date though. Ubisoft also just announced an upcoming closed beta for this Fall. So depending on how long the beta lasts and what if anything needs to be adjusted after it ends, Ubisoft could very well hit that target.

Rainbow Six Mobile pre-registration opens up chances for the closed beta

If you want a chance at getting into the closed beta, you’ll need to pre-register for the game. You can do so through the Google Play Store or the Google Play website. You can also pre-register for the game on iOS via the App Store if that’s your platform of choice. Keep in mind this won’t guarantee you a spot in the beta. But it never hurts to pre-register sooner rather than later.

If you didn’t get a chance to participate in the closed alpha back in May, this might be your last chance to try the game before it launches. Although that also depends on whether or not there is more than one beta test before its release.

Rainbow Six Mobile will be a free-to-play game. So expect microtransactions in some form. Whether that be for unlocking additional operators, skins for operators, skins for weapons, or other aesthetic customizations.

Pre-registering for the game may also net you some rewards since this is a common practice among mobile game releases. And at the very least, pre-registering will ensure you get an alert when the game is officially available to install on your device.
