Google rolled out the March 2025 Pixel Feature Drop update earlier this month. The new update arrived with a handful of features for Gemini, Scam Detection, Pixel Watch 3 series, and more. Furthermore, the latest Pixel Feature Drop update also came with the Pixel Studio 1.5 version, which has added new interesting abilities to the Pixel phone app. The new Pixel Studio 1.5 update enhances the sticker generation feature that the Pixel Studio 1.4 version brought in December last year.
The Pixel Studio 1.5 update brings the ability to create images of people
The latest version of the Pixel Studio application now allows you to use text-to-image prompts to create photos of people. It works similarly to the AI-generated stickers feature, which has been available in Pixel Studio since late last year. Earlier, you were only able to create stickers by either describing them with a text prompt or by creating one from an existing photo.
However, the Pixel Studio 1.5 version lets you generate photos of people specifically and not just create a sticker to use. Google mentioned that this feature will be available on all the Pixel 9 series smartphones. Furthermore, the update notes mention that “Pixel Studio is now available in Japan, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria,” with English, Japanese, and German support.

Furthermore, the Pixel Studio 1.5 update brings faster sticker creation, new artistic styles, and a light theme. There’s a new FAB (floating action button) on the Pixel Studio app’s homescreen. A new “Create a sticker” button joins the pill-shaped “Describe your sticker” and “Make one from existing photo” options.
Besides, the new Pixel Studio update brings new fun styles to Pixel Studio, which allows expressing creations even easier. You now have additional creative styles like Ukiyo-e, Stained Glass, Colorful, Children’s Book, and Minimalism.
Lastly, the latest Pixel Studio version adds a new “Light” Theme option in the account menu in the top-right corner. Google has started rolling out the Pixel Studio 1.5 update via the Play Store.
