The Pixel 4a has been removed from the Google Store. The device has been out of stock for weeks, and it is now no longer available to purchase directly from Google. That sure is the case in the US, and seemingly in other Google Store markets.

The device may yet be available in some regions, though we quickly checked some other regions it was available in, and it has been removed from there as well. The Pixel 5a arrival didn’t really push the Pixel 4a aside, as that device had limited availability. It is available only in the US and Japan.
The Pixel 4a remained available past that launch, but it has been out of stock for months. That’s a shame, as the Pixel 4a still offers great value for the price. The phone was initially priced at $349, which still represents great value.
The device was sold in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The removal of the Pixel 4a leaves only the Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, and Pixel 6 Pro on offer.
Only the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are available in most markets now
Do note that, out of those three phones, all three are available only in the US and Japan. The Pixel 6 and 6 Pro are available in many more markets, but the Pixel 5a is limited to the aforementioned two markets.
The Pixel 4a, as already mentioned, was a great value for money. The phone continues to perform really well to this date, and it still offers compelling cameras. This could still be a great option for those who want a smaller phone on a budget.
Considering the limited availability of the Pixel 5a, the removal of the Pixel 4a leaves consumers in many markets without a proper compact and budget offering from Google. Perhaps Google should have produced some additional units, just to have something to offer in other markets. Whatever the case may be, the Pixel 4a is gone.
