You can check out the first trailer for Pain Hustlers below.
“Liza Drake (Emily Blunt) is a blue-collar single mom who has just lost her job and is at the end of her rope,” the official synopsis for Pain Hustlers reads. “A chance meeting with pharmaceutical sales rep Pete Brenner (Chris Evans) puts her on an upwards trajectory economically but dubious path ethically as she becomes entangled in a dangerous racketeering scheme. Dealing with her increasingly unhinged boss (Andy Garcia), the worsening medical condition of her daughter (Chloe Coleman), and a growing awareness of the devastation the company is causing forces Liza to examine her choices.”
The film is directed by BAFTA award winner David Yates, written by Wells Tower, and based on book of the same name by Evan Hughes. Produced by Lawrence Grey, Pain Hustlers features an all-star cast that includes Emily Blunt, Chris Evans, Catherine O’Hara, Jay Duplass, Andy García, Chloe Coleman, Aubrey Dollar, Amit Shah, and Brian d’Arcy James.

Emily Blunt & Chris Evans Lead Pain Hustlers
The main selling point of Pain Hustlers is undoubtably the A-list double dose of SAG Award and Golden Globe winner Emily Blunt and Marvel star Chris Evans as a pair of pharmaceutical sales reps. Blunt has become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after talents thanks to roles in the likes of The Devil Wears Prada, The Adjustment Bureau, Sicario, Edge of Tomorrow, and both A Quiet Place and its sequel A Quiet Place Part II.
Blunt recently proved once again to be something of a scene-stealer with her role in director Christopher Nolan’s critically acclaimed and hugely successful biopic, Oppenheimer, in which she stars as Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer alongside Cillian Murphy as J. Robert Oppenheimer.
As for Chris Evans, the actor is best known for starring as Steve Rogers, aka Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the first in the original trinity of superheroes alongside Iron Man and Thor, Evans plays the honest and noble star-spangled man to wholesome perfection and boasts some of the best movies in the franchise.
While his career has largely been dominated by the MCU, Evans has proven himself to be an enormous talent outside the world of Marvel with roles in the likes of the sci-fi outing Sunshine, the hard-hitting drama Puncture, hitman tale The Iceman, the powerful family drama Gifted, and director Rian Johnson’s whodunnit hit Knives Out.
Both Emily Blunt and Chris Evans have several projects on the horizon alongside Pain Hustlers, with the former set to star in Disney sequel Jungle Cruise 2 and action drama The Fall Guy alongside Ryan Gosling, while the latter will star alongside Dwayne Johnson in festive action movie Red One.
Pain Hustlers is due to be released in select theaters on October 20, and will land on Netflix on October 27.
