A tipster has just revealed the OPPO Find X8 Ultra’s dual-tone camera module. This information comes from ‘Panda is bald’ tipster, that’s a Chinese tipster who operates via Weibo (China’s social media network).

The OPPO Find X8 Ultra will have a dual-tone-camera module, here’s its sketch

If you check out the image below, you’ll see the camera itself. Granted, this is not a render of it, nor a real-life image, but just a sketch. Still, it gives us a great idea as to what to expect.

This camera module will have a horizontal color division. You’ll clearly see a line that separates its two colors. This camera module will also have two distinct levels, it will be a two-step protrusion, kind of.

In the top-left corner of the image above, you’ll see an LED flash, outside the camera module itself. Then, the top module in the camera module is actually a periscope telephoto camera.

One of its periscope telephoto cameras will use an inverted periscope structure

If you’re wondering why is it not square-shaped, well, it’s because this camera will be utilizing an inverted periscope structure. That camera is said to offer a 6x optical zoom, by the way. A 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 camera is tipped. That will also be the only camera in the top portion of the camera module.

The next two cameras are the phone’s main snapper, a 50-megapixel 1-inch type sensor on the left, and a 3x periscope telephoto camera on the right. Sony’s LYT-900 sensor could be used for a main camera, while a 50-megapixel Sony IMX906 periscope telephoto camera is tipped for a 3x telephoto unit.

At the very bottom, you’ll see a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX882 sensor). There are also two sensors flanking this camera, on the left is likely a laser autofocus unit, while on the right you’ll see a multispectral sensor.

This phone will come with high-end specs

The OPPO Find X8 Ultra is tipped to include a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display, along with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. A 6,000mAh battery is also tipped, along with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

This phone could debut a customizable multi-action key instead of an alert slider. We know that the device will launch in China, but we’re still not sure about its global launch. It is expected to arrive in March.
