OPPO is expected to announce its new foldable offerings in the near future. The OPPO Find N2 and Find N2 Flip are expected to launch in mid-December, and it seems like they’ll both be available globally.
The OPPO Find N2 & Find N2 Flip will become available globally, it seems
This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. We were actually wondering if this will happen, as the OPPO Find N was exclusive to China. It turned out to be a truly great foldable smartphone, so a global launch of its successor would be nice to see.
Well, it seems like that will happen. The OPPO Find N2 Flip, on the other hand, will become the company’s first clamshell foldable. In other words, these two phones are expected to rival the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip 4.
Do note that the OPPO Find N ended up being smaller than the Galaxy Z Fold 4, and that’s not a bad thing at all. It ended up being a compact phone when you need it, and a tablet with a large display when you unfold it.
The OPPO Find N2 is expected to improve upon a really successful design
The OPPO Find N2 is expected to follow in its footsteps. It will, of course, bring some improvements with it. The first-gen model had a lot less noticeable crease than Samsung’s offerings, and a zero-gap design. It did not offer water and dust resistance, though.
The OPPO Find N2 is expected to improve in the hardware department, and be noticeably lighter. In fact, the phone is rumored to become the lightest foldable of that type in the market.
The OPPO Find N2 Flip is still a mystery, though. It is expected to feature a rather large outer display, and compete with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 directly. Chances are it will be similar in terms of size to the Galaxy Z Flip 4, but we’ll see.
Both of these phones will be quite powerful. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is rumored to fuel them. Both will include OLED displays with high refresh rates, and a number of other high-end specs.
