OnePlus has started rolling out a new V-series update to its devices, both its smartphones and tablets. This update is aimed at global units, and devices that are running OxygenOS, not ColorOS.
A new V-series update is rolling out to a bunch of OnePlus smartphones & tablets
This update comes with version V10P02, and it has firmware numbers BRB1EX01 and BRB3EX01. Those firmware numbers are for smartphones and tablets, respectively.
With that being said, this update improves the system stability and optimizes the refresh frequency of weather data. On top of that, it optimizes the saving speed of scrolling screenshots.
So, it’s not a huge update, but it does bring some optimizations to the table. OnePlus said that everyone will receive this update by December 9 (it’s a staged rollout), as long as your device is eligible to get it.
A bunch of OxygenOS 14, 13.1.0, and 13 devices will be getting the update
Speaking of which, this update will roll out to a number of OxygenOS 14, OxygenOS 13.1.0, and OxygenOS 13 devices. We’ll list those devices below, just in case you use some of them.
These OxygenOS 14 devices will get it: OnePlus 9, OnePlus 10, OnePlus 11, and OnePlus 12 series, OnePlus Open, OnePlus 8T, OnePlus Nord 4 5G / Nord 3 5G / Nord 2T 5G, OnePlus Nord CE4 5G / CE 3 5G, CE 3 Lite 5G / CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus Pad, and OnePlus Pad Go.
In regards to OxygenOS 13.1.0 devices, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will be getting the update. OxygenOS 13 devices that will get this update are the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, Nord CE 2 5G, and Nord CE 5G.
That is pretty much it. Some optimizations are coming to all of these devices, so basically all modern OnePlus smartphones and tablets. Your phone will let you know once the update is available, and it’s rolling over the air (OTA), of course.
