A couple of days ago, a phone called OnePlus ‘Ivan’ was mentioned in a report. Well, it seems like that device is actually the OnePlus Nord 2 CE, and its specs have just surfaced.
The OnePlus Nord CE got announced in June this year, so we’re not expecting its successor to arrive anytime soon. Still, its specifications have just surfaced, courtesy of 91mobiles and Yogesh Brar (tipster).
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE specs have been revealed, it seems
According to the provided information, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE will feature a 6.4-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display. That display will offer a 90Hz refresh rate, and we’re looking at a flat panel here.
The MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC will fuel the device, while two variants will arrive. The base model will include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the more expensive variant will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The device will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner, and three cameras on the back. A 64-megapixel main camera will be backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide unit, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
This budget phone will support 65W fast charging
A 16-megapixel front-facing camera will also be a part of the package. This smartphone will feature a 4,500mAh battery, and will offer 65W fast wired charging. The charging brick will likely be included in the box.
Android 12 is expected to come pre-installed on this smartphone, along with OxygenOS 12. The phone is also said to include a 3.5mm headphone jack, and stereo speakers, while its frame will be made out of plastic. Glass will be used on the back of the phone, though.
OnePlus is well-known for its alert slider, but this phone won’t offer it. That is not exactly too surprising as the original Nord CE did not include an alert slider either.
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE is expected to arrive in mid-2022, though OnePlus may surprise us and launch it sooner than that.
