OnePlus is primarily a smartphone manufacturer, but it’s been broadening its horizon over the years. Rumors surrounding a tablet from the company have been circulating for a while. If you’ve been following those rumors, you might be glad to know that the OnePlus might have gotten an official launch date.

The company has been looking into launching different types of devices through its “OnePlus Featuring” program. In the program, the company partners with different third-party companies to produce all sorts of tech products. For example, the company worked with Keychron to produce a OnePlus-branded mechanical keyboard.

The OnePlus tablet could launch in February

OnePlus has produced a bunch of phones since it entered the market, so a tablet doesn’t seem like a stretch of the imagination. It was only a matter of when. Well, thanks to a new leak, we might know when this device could launch.

A new tweet from Abhishek Yadav just spilled the beans on when this product, along with some other OnePlus gadgets, might launch. Now, since this is a leak, you’ll want to take this with a grain of salt. Even the leak itself uses the word “might”.

In the tweet, it says that the OnePlus tablet might launch on February 7th; that’s less than three weeks away. Other than that, the leak also says that the OnePlus 11 5G, OnePlus 11R 5G, OnePlus Buds Pro 2, and the OnePlus 65″ TV might also launch that day.

The leak says that these devices might launch on that date, so we’re not sure if there will be an announcement before the 7th. There’s always the chance that they will launch on the same date as the announcement. Only time will tell.

We don’t know anything about this tablet’s specs at the moment, but, as suggested by GSM Arena, there’s a chance that it’s a rebrand of an Oppo tablet. Both companies are owned by BBK, and they’ve shared a ton of resources over the years. The OnePlus tablet, if it is a rebrand, may use the Oppo Pad as a host. That tablet was an 11″ tablet that capped out at 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It used the Snapdragon 870 SoC, and it had an 8,360mAh battery.

If the tablet does launch in February, there’s a chance that it will remain exclusive to India for the time being. Information like price and availability will have to wait for the official launch.
