In a recent post on Weibo, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station claims the OnePlus 13 could launch earlier than its predecessor, the OnePlus 12. Although the Weibo post doesn’t mention it, OnePlus has been reportedly following a rather interesting strategy.
OnePlus has been launching its flagship phones earlier than its predecessors. For the last three years, OnePlus has launched its flagship a month earlier than the previous year.

OnePlus launched the OnePlus 12 in China before launching the flagship smartphone in other parts of the world. Specifically speaking, the OnePlus 12 launched in December 2023 in China. The same smartphone made its global debut in January 2024.
The Weibo post suggests that OnePlus would follow the same launch strategy for the OnePlus 13. The tipster states that OnePlus may “advance” its press conference. In other words, OnePlus could be planning for a “tentative” end-of-October release date for the OnePlus 13.

Launching the OnePlus 13 soon after Qualcomm announces its latest flagship SoC would surely benefit OnePlus.
